Our Team
Chelsea Garvin, PT, DPT, OCS
Dr. Chelsea Garvin is the owner and Doctor of Physical Therapy at Life Changes Physical Therapy. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, which has provided the foundation to her holistic treatment approach. Chelsea achieved her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado and has since continued to pursue educational opportunities in physical therapy. Chelsea became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics in 2019, and she utilizes this knowledge in her practice along with her exceptional manual therapy skills and pelvic floor therapy skills to help her patients achieve the best results possible.
Although she has many accomplishments in the field of physical therapy, Chelsea is most proud of being a mom to her son, Graham, and daughter, Sawyer. Chelsea’s inspiration for creating Life Changes Physical Therapy began during her first pregnancy after realizing the lack of education, support, and treatment for women, specifically mothers, experiencing pain, discomfort, long-term issues, and functional limitations during and after their pregnancies. The experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and transitioning into the role of motherhood sparked a desire to help ease this transition for other women. Chelsea is constantly expanding her knowledge on evaluation and treatment in this area to help her patients live their best and most active lives. Chelsea prides herself on treating each client with compassion and empathy in order to guide them through the healing process to optimal health and function.
